Privacy Policy
2Dolla ("we," "our," "us") operates the 2Dolla mobile application (the "Service"). This page describes what we collect, how we use it, and the rights you have over it.
1. Information we collect
- Account information: name, phone number, and email address when you register.
- Payment information: card details are collected and tokenized by our payment processor, Stripe, Inc. We do not store full card numbers.
- Location data: precise GPS location during active requests, used to match Diners with nearby Doers and to verify that a Doer physically visited the restaurant. Location data is not stored after a request is closed.
- Verification photos: Doers upload photos of the restaurant waitlist as proof of service. These images are stored for up to 30 days for dispute review and then permanently deleted.
- Usage data: app interaction data (screens viewed, taps, request history) used to improve the Service. This data is anonymized after 90 days.
- Device information: device identifiers, operating system, and app version for diagnostics and security.
2. How we use information
- To operate the Service — matching Diners with Doers, processing requests, verifying delivery.
- To process payments via Stripe and pay Doers their earnings.
- To prevent fraud, investigate disputes, and enforce our Terms.
- To send transactional notifications (request status, payment confirmations).
- To comply with legal obligations (tax records, lawful requests from authorities).
3. Who we share information with
- Other users: we share the first name and last initial between matched Diners and Doers. Phone numbers are never shared directly — calls and texts are masked through Twilio Proxy.
- Service providers: Stripe (payments), Supabase (database and authentication), Twilio (SMS, masked phone), Expo (push notifications and crash reports).
- Legal: when required by law or to protect the Service from abuse.
We do not sell your personal information.
4. Your rights
You can:
- Access your data via the app's Profile screen.
- Delete your account from within the app (Profile → Delete Account). Personal data is removed; anonymized transaction records are retained as required for tax and accounting purposes.
- Object to certain processing or request restrictions.
- Residents of the EU (GDPR) and California (CCPA/CPRA) have additional rights, including the right to data portability and the right to opt out of certain sharing.

5. Children
2Dolla is not directed to anyone under 18. We do not knowingly collect data from minors.
6. Security
We use industry-standard encryption in transit (TLS) and at rest. No system is perfectly secure, but we work to protect your data and notify you of any incidents that affect it.
7. Changes
If we materially change this policy we'll notify you in the app and update the "Last updated" date above.
